About Me

Served on USCGC Chase WHEC 718 (Sherman's sister) in Vietnam 1969-1970 CG Squadron 3, Operation Market Time. Founding member of USCGC Chase Association, Once a Chaser, Always a Chaser. Now that the 378's are being stricken we need to band together and stay in touch.

Woody - Welcome Aboard I totally agree with banding together! For many reasons! .. Dedicated 378 websites are few and far between .. Many crew members have served on more than one WHEC. We have many common backgrounds and memories. In the future share our planning funding and attending Ship reunions ... another rare occurrence it seems with our sister 378's. Like's "All Weathership reunions in Reno each year (see the links on the CG Links page). With your experieince as a founding member of the Chase association I would Love to hear comments and ideas. Woody feel free to blog on this site, I have links with the Chase Webpage if you to add to those. Open a Chase photo album here and post photos. Thanks for joining the Sherman Site!
