Thanks for posting this video of the CGC Duane at her final resting place. Sure brings back some memories of when I was walking the wood covered main deck, counting cans in the paint locker, climbing up to the SPS-29 platform, changing out a UHF antenna, seeing Guantanamo for the first time...

Great Video, Weird to see a ship that you walked on the deck so many years ago underwater like this. I do not dive but I have been near this site snorkeling, and knew it was there. it is at a pretty deep area. thanks for the tour. A National Geographic story recently had some color corected stills, that show off the colorful coral.

Yes I saw the Nat Geo Photos ..thought I had saved them on my computer somewhere? .. but just Google diving on the Duane .. brings up a lot of photos ... Sort of Sad for sure! .. The first Captain of the Sherman Capt. Paul Lutz served on the Duane during WWII and wrote a great Sea Story about his time on the Duane .. I'll send you a copy and also post it in our document area.
